The Origin
ARONA was born on the Tahiti Peninsula, where the road ends and the mountains plunge into the ocean. It's a place that has nothing to prove: the light is clear, the lines sharp, the black of the basalt absolute. Here, you learn early on that a job well done doesn't need to be explained.
We brought that exacting standard with us to Paris.

The Gesture
We do not design patterns. We borrow lines: the curve of a canoe, the tension of a braid, the geometry of a Polynesian tattoo. These are principles of construction, not ornaments.
Each piece is made to order in a Parisian workshop. Nothing is produced until it is desired.
The founder
ARONA PARIS was founded in 2019 by Karl Wan, a self-taught designer born on the Tahiti Peninsula.
Since then, the fashion house has dressed women who have nothing left to prove, including actress Auli'i Cravalho and singers Kat DeLuna and Dawn Richard.
